Remembrance Sunday History

Remembrance Sunday seeks to remember and honour the sacrifices made in wars. These include World War I & II and later conflicts. This day aims to pay tribute to those military and civilian servicemen and women. This day is typically observed with war memorials and collective silences. Remembrance poppies are laid on memorials and church bells are usually rung.
