The trust's main goal is to create a kinder country by offering support and inspiration for kindness initiatives, connecting individuals and organizations, and promoting positive stories and research on the impact of kindness in New Zealand.

World Kindness Day is observed in New Zealand on November 13th, as it is in the rest of the world.
