 Safer Internet Day HistorySafer Internet Day seeks to start a national conversation about using technology responsibly, respectfully, and creatively. This day encourages people to explore how they manage their online identity and to consider how they perceive themselves and others online. It urges people to consider how their online identity makes them feel. It poses the question of whether their presence online is being used as a positive or negative form of expression.
